Smooth Cement flooring

Another form of in-situ continuous flooring which Laboratorio Morseletto produces is Smooth Cement.
A mixture of cement, marble dust, oxides or terracotta (where needed for a specific colour effect) is spread onto a sand and cement floor screed reinforced with a metal mesh. Smoothing is done by hand, and finished with linseed oil and wax. Smooth Cement needs joints to be strategically placed according to the design and inserts can be added into the floor, using a wide variety of different materials.
