2008 Marco Paolini – Il sergente

Inspired by the book of Mario Rigoni Stern “Il sergente nella Neve”, the play by Marco Paolini was recorded by six cameras in the picturesque setting of Arcari quarry in Zovencedo (VI) owned by the Laboratorio Morseletto. On October 30th 2008 the event was broadcasted live, on La7 TV channel, without commercial interruptions.

2008 Padua for Andrea Palladio

To celebrate five hundred years since the birth of Andrea Palladio, Laboratorio Morseletto realized in ​​Vicenza stone a sculpture by Elio Armano, a “Palladian fragment” inspired by the motif of Villa Pojana facade. The work was placed in Padua in Borgo della Paglia, where Palladio was born and spent his youth, before he became the most celebrated architect of the Renaissance.

2007 Presentazione del libro “Trecase” di Claudio Caramel

In the scenic setting of Cengelle quarry, owned by Laboratorio Morseletto, the presentation of the book “Trecase” took place, dedicated to the architect Claudio Caramel, published by Electa, with texts by Tobia Scarpa, David Chipperfield and Laura Lazzaroni.
Object of the publication is a restructuring project of three homes within a Paduan building, for which the Laboratorio has realized claddings, flooring , bathrooms, fireplaces, using Vicenza Stone, Venetian Terrazzo, Marmorino of ancient use, in a contemporary and minimalist context.

2007 International Biennale of Architecture “Barbara Cappochin” Kengo Kuma – Two carps: water/earth – villagge/city – Phenomenology

Every year, the Biennale Internazionale di Architettura “Barbara Cappochin” has dedicated an exhibition to a renowned international contemporary architect.

For the 2007 guest, the Japanese Kengo Kuma, it was set-up at Palazzo della Ragione in Padua an unprecedented personal exhibition of rare beauty and originality entitled “Two carps: water/earth – village/city – phenomenology”.

Laboratorio Morseletto has organized the convivial inaugural event of the exhibition at Cengelle quarry in Grancona (VI)

2006 Peppe Butera’s exhibition, Laboratorio Morseletto Vicenza

Laboratorio Morseletto headquarters have been transformed for a few days in an art gallery, where they have been found place the original operas of the Sicilian painter Peppe Butera. The works of master Butera were realized with various materials, amongst which marble powders, acrylic dyes and fabrics.

Of particular interest are the re-interpretations of the furnitures in Vicenza Stone carved by  Laboratorio Morseletto, and transfigured by the wild intervention, strong colors, manufactured with firm hand by Butera, who despite lacking an academic background, demonstrates to have an expressive ability of rare intensity, inspired by his main artistic and cultural reference model,

2005 International Biennale of Architecture “Barbara Cappochin” David Chipperfield. Idea and Reality

As part of the initiatives promoted for the second edition of the International Architecture Biennale “Barbara Cappochin”, Palazzo della Ragione in Padua hosted the exhibition “David Chipperfield. Idea and Reality”.

On display forty projects to represent more than 20 years of David Chipperfield Architects’ international success, one of the most popular and influential architecture studios in the world.

For the occasion, Laboratorio Morseletto has made ​​a dozen architectural models in Vicenza stone, and has organized at its headquarters the inaugural event of the exhibition.

2004 Peter Eisenman – “Il Giardino dei Passi Perduti” – Castelvecchio, Verona Museum

With “Il Giardino dei Passi Perduti” / “The Garden of Lost Steps”, the American architect Peter Eisenman has created a temporary installation specifically designed for the Museum of Castelvecchio.

The exhibition presents some architectural ideas of the American architect starting from the formal reading of the restoration and redevelopment of the Scaligero Castle done by Carlo Scarpa in the ‘60s and ‘70s.

At the exhibition’s opening Laboratorio Morseletto organized at its headquarters a convivial event.

Architecture”, the book includes documents, productions, developed and planned works, residential interiors, design objects of the two Associates Architects of the studio Sartogo based in Rome.

2000 Exhibition “Futurism” – Palladian Basilica in Vicenza

Ninety years from the publication of the first Futurist Manifesto, the city of Vicenza has proposed a highly original exhibition-event in the LAMEC space of the Palladian Basilica.

For the occasion, the Laboratorio has lent two sculptures,  plaster bas-reliefs depicting figures of wrestlers, of the founder Piero Morseletto.

1996 Book Presentation “Afra and Tobia Scarpa. Architecture”

The book, published by Electa and edited by Roberto Masiero, traces the origins from the works built by the two architects, demonstrating how the trial represents the crucial point to understand the different steps that their work faced.

Laboratorio Morseletto hosted at its headquarters the presentation of the book, in the presence of Professor Francesco Dal Co from the University Institute of Architecture based in Venice.
